CDesign and production of a body of photographic images based on a book restoration studio, as part of a project combining archives, historical techniques, and contemporary processes.
The Ex-Libris project brings together cyanotypes, laser prints, and fine art prints centered on images of a rare book restoration studio. By combining contemporary materials with antique papers, the project highlights the continuity of editorial know-how and photographic processes, reactivated through current digital technologies.
The project offers a reflection on the transmission of images, the materiality of archives, and the evolution of reproduction techniques within a specific heritage context.
